WE ARE DOWN TO THE WIRE! The mortgage company has set the sale date on the house for December 3rd! That is also her son's birthday, what a bad day to lose your house! These animals will probably end up at a shelter if we can't raise enough to keep them in this house, and all the no-kill shelters are full. Please take a look at the pictures of these animals and imagine how bad things are going to get for them. IF YOU CAN SKIP STARBUCKS FOR ONE DAY AND DONATE THAT MONEY, THEY MIGHT HAVE A FIGHTING CHANCE TO STAY IN A HOME WITH PEOPLE WHO LOVE THEM! PLEASE HELP! PLEASE POST AND REPOST! ***Meow! Our mom lost her job when the economy collapsed, and could not find anything until just now. But we are so far behind in paying for our home, it will be lost in foreclosure before much longer. We will be out on the streets! Of course, our mom and her kid and yes, even the doggies will be out on the streets. But most importantly, an entire family of kitties will be without a home! Mom does animal rescue, so there are several of us here. We are trying to get everyone who reads this to donate just a few bucks. Most of you humans spend more than that on coffee every day. If we can get enough small donations, we might have a chance to save our home! Please help us!***
Hi all, we thought we would let one of the cats make his plea first, so we let Chili write the intro. Anyone who has cats will understand. Several of us have gotten together to try to help one of our friends who is about to lose her home to foreclosure. She has helped all of us out on different occasions, but the last few years have hit her hard. (We are down to the wire now with a court date of August 29th, when the mortgage company is sure to get permission to foreclose.) We are talking about a person who lived with and gave hands-on care to both her parents when they were old and sick, raised a son on her own, worked and tried to take classes when she could. She was working 2 and 3 jobs at a time before the economy collapsed. The house was her parents, they took out the loan, it is not her debt, but she has tried to honor it as best she can. She wanted to keep the house, in spite of it being in pretty bad condition, because it is the house she grew up in, and because it would be impossible to find something she could afford that would allow her to keep the animals she loves and feels a responsibility to care for. She is a single mom who also takes in animals that need help. She currently only has 2 dogs, but she has 10 cats at this time, all cats that no one has wanted to adopt, including 5 black cats that so many people still think are bad luck. Every animal she has ever had have been strays. I know it is going to kill her if anything bad happens to these animals because of her financial difficulties. If the house goes, everything goes. She would never be able to find a rental that would allow her to take all her current animals with her, we all have too many ourselves to take them in, and her kid may not be able to finish up at college if they foreclose now. We really don't want them to end up homeless and on the streets! We may not be able to save everyone in need, but we really would like to help this family, so they can at least stay in their home and continue saving what animals they can. We have chipped in ourselves, but on one in our little circle has much in the way of money, so we can only do some much. There is strength in numbers, and if enough people give a very small amount, we can make a very big difference for a someone who is very special. If we can just get donations of a few dollars, whatever you can spare, from everyone who reads this, we might stand a chance of saving this family.
